Movies And Video Games

What drives me in my fast car in the slow lane life is a good movie or game, i’m not talking about ‘Hungry Hungry Hippos’ or the next all violence movie. I look to both of these entertainment pleaser with the same expectations. For movies I look to a story line with a terrific character development, nobody holding my hand throughout the way making sure I understand. Terrific music and camera directions, and if used well a cliffhanger.

Movies can tell a story through sounds and visual, not some cookie cutter documentary that just tells you facts. Films can take you to a new world and back, see tragedies and miracles, while feeling the same emotions as the main protagonist. But people care about visual effects and explosions more nowadays, no more stories just take a president and make him fight a fictional creature.

But video games can do the same thing, but you control what’s going to happen to the main character. You get to either see the successful victory of the hero and his friends. The same with movies I look for great character development and terrific music, but what else I go for is a great control scheme and a puzzling situation where you have to think fast to advance.

I grew up with a simple mind, but it grew and got molded by first steps like Mario and Land Before Time, or even Ed Edd n’ Eddy. I was able to form opinions, and see how some real world problems function and operate. People after my generation may not get the same joy I do, but I can at least help them start.
